After a 17-hour marathon with nearly 200 startup pitches, the Equity team got fired up to get back always on Twitter and chat coming from some early trends and then favorites from the first functioning of Y Combinator’s display party. We’ll be back close to air tomorrow, so make sure you’re following the show on Twitter so you do not miss out.
- House: We started by entering top-line numbers, geographic degradation, and how the accelerator is progressing when it comes to the representation with regards to diverse founders. The last slightly had a tiny bit of go, but diversity continues to be a problem in YC’s batches – even as cohort size grows up. We also chatted about something that startups pitching can work located on: like better mics, which are cut price and good.
- Our early favorites: Metaphor, Lumify, Alex’s favorite coppia Indian real estate plays, Akudo, Reframe, and Playhouse.
- And some hmmm moments, including our thoughts on Writesonic, which Natasha has a sometimes paranoid theory on.
TechCrunch consists of extensive coverage of the day in the exact location, so there’s lots so as to dig into if you are inside of the mood. More tomorrow!
