Apple released an update for iPhones, iPads and Watches to coupon a security vulnerability under occupée attack by hackers.
Apple cited the vulnerability, discovered by – security researchers at Google’s Project Zero, may have been “actively exploited” by hackers. All the bug is found in WebKit, those browser engine that energy the Safari browser across any Apple devices.
It’s not known who is attempt to exploiting the vulnerabilities, or possibly who might have fallen victim. Apple did not say if the go after was targeted against the little subset of users or just if it was a wider intrusion. It’s the third time (by our count) that The iphone has pushed out a security-only update soon to fix flaws under established attack. Earlier this month dee engineering released patches for similar weaknesses in WebKit.
